whats the best mistake somebody has made that has benefited you in someway? i mean like ordering something and 2 coming and stuff like that?
i've got a few small ones:
ordered a mouse off ebuyer, got 3 in a box
ordered a set of wheel bearings off ebay, got 2 sets sent me
ordered some clothes and trainers from m&m sports, didnt arrive after a week so rang them up and they confirmed package was lost so sent them out again but had to refund me some cash as an item i ordered was now out of stock, the new package arrived, then a few weeks later the original order came including the item i had been refunded for
ordered some cheap headphones off ebay, complained that they hadnt come so he resent them, new pair came followed by the originals
whats yours?

I bought 12 bottles of Old Speckled Hen from an off licence, as the cashier was tallying up I saw there were 6 packs of Mini Chedders on offer. She got confused and ended up giving me all my money back. Didn't realise till I got outside

Both Tesco and Sainsburys have paid me to walk out of their shop with food and beer in the past due to glitches in their system!

That reminds me, Autovox still haven't sent me the new jacking point covers that I paid for and I broke my car months back.

my dad bought an ipod classic 80gb a couple years back (£160).
postman left it outside the front door even though it was a signed for parcel.
dad phoned the company up saying he hadn't received it and they sent another out.
i paid my dad £80 for the 2nd one so saved myself £80.

someone could've easily taken it from the doorstep...
and besides, the company obviously insured it so they just claim it back through royal mail.
like you've never done anything illegal.

and if you think he stole it, then what about the others in here receiving multiple items when they didn't pay for them? surely they should email the company letting them know and asking them to come and pick them back up?

Ended up with a free fancy Sony 32" flat screen CRT TV when that was big, didn't do it deliberately though, company caused us all sorts of hassle and it was slightly damaged.

They didn't though. It's theft. Plain and simple.
Other than the odd rape here and there I am as legal as they come, I don't even torrent shit as I won't have non genuine stuff in my collection.
