Anyone else have the issue where the under your chin / neck bit (above adam's apple basically) whenever you shave you get lots of little blood spots forming? Ive tried everything from throwaway Bic razors to the orange Gillette 5 blade. I use the Gillette shaving gel, think its the sensitive one.

Makes me feel really stupid going to work looking like a 13 year old who has just started with his dad's razor

i do sometimes, neck goes bright red and end up quite sore no matter what ive tried. Went and had a hot towel shave fora mates wedding the other day and ended up exactly the same. He said i need a very good moisturiser as my skin is dry and thats what causes it. Am currently using an electric razor which has improved it lots

I don't get on with the electric razors, they never get close enough and Im not about to waste £100 or whatever on a good one, as its money I dont have. I do the whole moisturising thing after I shave, but not every day, only after shaving, and that is only to stop it itching and bleeding from these spotty things

Just bought a Phillips one for about £35? Gets a damn sight closer than any other electric one I've had, can't fault it!

I've got facial hair like brabed fucking wire which means I have to push really hard to get a clean shave so I normally end up gutting my self to shreds if I rush.

I find electric razors are gash.. Best solution I've found to make shaving more pleasant is to either have a shave after a hot shower, the hairs just seem softer and your skin goes all flat.. Or if you are in a rush and are not having a shower first thing leave the shaving foam on for about 5-10 minutes before shaving so whack it on first thin in the morning as you start getting ready then have a shave right at the end before you put your top on..

I get a lot, and where I use a crash helmet every day i get a major neck rash sometimes.

I've just started using this botonics stuff. Its morelike a gel than a shaving foam, it doesn't froath up. Its bloody great, its a bit like having a dry shave, without the pain

Only tips I can suggest, make sure you've used lots of hot water to soften your skin up. Rinse well, and dab your face dry, don't wipe it.

I never shave unless i've had a shower, round the shide of my chin is really sensitive and can be a bit painfull, but this new stuffs great. I'll find out the name tonight if you want?

I've used loads of gels, sensitive skin brands, and they have all been as pants as the other really.

Use hair conditioner on your face. Softens the stubble before shaving.

I've just stopped shaving and use a beard trimmer instead - used to get a bad rash along my jaw line; plus just using a trimmer is so much quicker and easier

I get this. I bought something from Nivea which is an After Shave balm. Stops it completely.

You guys never used Somersets Oil?? Rub it in pre shave and it softens all the hairs which makes it a hell of a lot smoother

Just go for the 'trendy stubble' look and use an electric stubble trimmer to keep it at a constant length. No rash as you're not shaving upto the skin and sooo much quicker.

yes i used to, just went with an electric razor, use the side trimmer to take the length off then go over it with the actual shaver part, get a very close shave and no rash

try adjusting the direction you shave, going against the growth tends to cause this more then shaving with it
