Expensive for now but if it works I'm sure they'll drop in price quickly.

ERROR CODE: 403
Ok, I really sorry everyone is seeing this 403 page instead!
But sadly to say we been "slashdot'ed" and "engadget'ed"!
And even "google news" has ontop of the list!
That what happens when a confirmed working PS3 modchip is finally out!
I am moving the site to a new $4,000 per month server, with 2.5terabytes of HDD, two 12-core CPU's, and 32gigs of RAM, with our own direct pipe to the 'net, hopefully that will be enough to handle the 100,000 users online at once now! - If not, I going to borrow some money from Google!

I have been in contact directly with the manufacturer and can confirm some things you have all been asking about...
1. FAT32 is currently supported. They are working on NTFS.
2. They recommend staying on current firmware and not updating until they have deemed it safe. The dongle is fully updatable.
3. Online play does work but they cannot guarantee that it will work with all future titles.
4. Final retail units are ready to ship.
5. Official reseller list will be on their site in the next 48 hours. You can pre-order from any of the official resellers. There are websites out there now claiming to be selling but they are not legitimate. Don't get ripped off. Wait until the official list is posted.

PS Jailbreak is a USB plug and play solution that installs in seconds, keeping your valid warranty seal in tact.
Easy to use installer and GUI takes you step by step.
Compatible with all production models FAT and SLIM. Supports all regions: USA, JAP, PAL and KOREA
PS Jailbreak disables forced software updates and will never brick your console.
Supports all games (it does not allow backups of bluray movies , dvd movies , or past consoles games)
Backup games to your internal hard drive or external hard drive through USB, and boot directly off GUI. Eliminating the need for expensive blueray burners and costly blank media.
Play backups off your hard drives 2x as fast as off the blueray drive. This eliminates lags and glitches to provide you with smoother game play.
Open up your console to a new generation of homebrew applications. Load homebrew apps/games off any USB hard drive/flash drive.
Fully updatable with new features/updates by connecting PS Jailbreak to any computers USB port.

this comment is good:
Just remember a couple of things when evaluating this "product"
1) OzModChips charges when you order, not when it ships. This screams SCAM. It might not be a scam, but no reputable e-business charges you until your order ships. 2) If the hack runs on a USB drive, its just software. That means instead of feeding money to the pirate community, you can just wait until a couple people get it and upload an ISO of the dongle. If you are going to pirate, do it right.

It could be fake, a usb dongle doesn't necessarily mean just software though, could be hardware, will be cloned instantly either way though.

That's what Sony get for pissing off hackers by removing the other OS feature, there wasn't much effort in it until then.

I read somewhere, and completely agree, it's basically the same as the Pandora Battery for the PSP.

it doesn't play downloaded blurays "just fine". MKVs require a conversion of some sort.
whoever uses a power hungry PS3 to play a DOWNLOADED mkv should invest in a network tank or a revo.
