nothing wrong with the F13/F15/F17 boxes at all

on a standard car too, i think where i was having it 1st to 2nd the car wanted to spin but the t/c cut in and aplied the brakes and caused it the engine torque forcing against the brakes trying to stop it!

yea, the F15's, and the big block 16's and 20's are solid...as are the 28's. Old boxes were cracking...and took an absolute pasting. Just new ones are bollocks.

yes


had a abused pervious live too i think, as i got it it had a snapped drive shaft in the gearbox

brings in the brakes, well its 100% does in the astra H, with esp

got me daughting myself now it was on the ramps either and it wont rev with wheels off the ground in gear - im sure it was appling the brakes! (not just throttle cut)

nice job. i dont think ive killed a gearbox.
ive done clutch's and bent selctor rods.
dont think ive blown a box

The traction control doesn't use the brakes, the traction control of the H doesn't use the brakes either, the ESP function will if it needs to correct though.

350 is @ Nissan at the mo for Gearbox issues. Man I love warranties

Was the good old pin shear that the 6spds suffer from. But yes that car was flooded

Still have the box sitting in Dads yard somewhere.

we do alot of ford gearbox work to try and prevent that happening!
