I would spend my 4 grand on an astra turbo (mk4). More toys, newer body, newer engine, reliable. More than likely cheaper to insure.

so what you ment to do then ? stick a old tired engine in for it to just goo bang a few months down the line , to then have to take the car off the road again to then have to spend a load on a rebuild ?
if your going to do somthing then do it right from the start , it works out cheaper in the long run
