had a lot of problems with my corsa recently, so going to sell all the bits off it and get something different .
ats cups, 3 have kumhos and the other is a michelin i think - £250.
front springs and shocks, think they are 40mm - Prov sold.
rear springs, 60mm i think - Prov sold.
badgeless front grill with irmscher 'i' - £10
i've also got a sony gigapanel cd player, which i paid about £280 for not so long ago, an amp and a 1200w xplod sub that i'd rather keep hold up, but i think £180 would be a reasonable price for the lot.
now the car itself, would make an ideal shell for a conversion, vgc considering its done 130,000, price would depend on whether you want the engine or not, i don't mind taking it out myself, would be £180 with the engine or £150 without, simply because i think i might be able to recoup some money on the engine if i sell it in bits. - Prov sold.
collection preferred from preston, could post some bits, or i'm happy to package the stuff up if you arrange your own courier. need these gone soon as i'm going to be needing a new car.
thanks bobby

no need to be sarcastic mate, its an x10xe, and its had various idling problems etc. if the engine was to be included with the shell then it would be sold as a non runner. and its very much rust free, apart from the bonnet lip.

well I assure you that I wasn't, I'm genuinely interested in your shell but I had no idea what engine was in it or what was wrong with it as I've been off the forum for a while due to my dad dying, so I haven't seen any threads about your car at all.
The engine could have been anything as it isn't mentioned what size it is and the problems you have been having could have been due to bodywork - I needed to know

well apologies. the shell is nearly a minter, albeit the rust starting to come through on the bonnet lip. if the engine was to be sold with the car its a non runner, just cuts out as soon as it starts.

ok, well I'd be transplanting my 1.2 anyway as I don't want to go down engine size.
What will you be leaving on the shell? - just so I can figure out how and what I'd need to transport it. Will you be leaving the hubs on for instance?

would be sold as a rolling shell mate. i just need to find standard suspension and it will come as a car - engine. would you be bothered about interior?

no don't need interior either as I'll be swapping mine over, but if you don't want to bother to remove it that's fine too - up to you.
When do you think the shell will be ready to go? - I'm not in a huge rush so don't panic, but I will need to twist a mates arm for transport and may have to butter him up with some kind of bribe LOL

just out of interest, is your 1.2 an 8v or 16v?
if its an 8v, id personally source another 1.0 for the 'new' shell, as the 1.2 8v's are slower than the 1.0's, and will be much harder to wire in etc, no worth the hassle in my opinion
if yours is the 16v, then transplant away....
oh, bump for the seller

it's an 8v.
thanks for the info, I might do that then, I can't afford to go up in engine size as I have 12 points (don't ask) so my insurance is crazy, but I'll see if I can find a 1.0 at a sensible price then , cheers
