We did have a lot of crap that needed to go - but we needed to use the money and replace them with better quality. We certainly didn't have too many players.

It's laughable tbh to say he took a good team/squad and made them shite.

You only have to compare the starting 11 when he took over (included the likes of diouf, henchoz, dudek, heskey, etc) so it's a damn site better now.

Difference is the ball park changed, roman was spending millions, this sheik is, the Jews dipped in to their gold, etc.

I think those players are good players tbh, Dudek could be a great keeper, Henchoz although slightly limited gave everything for the cause, Heskey although I don't really like him a lot, most managers do, Diouf although a twat could also be a very good player, so I don't get your point.

'could' doesn't make them good. Dudek wasn't a bad keeper, but is nothingon Reina. Diouf is a pile of wank. Henchoz wasn't bad but worse than agger and/or skrtel.
