without a full blown detail and using cheapo products, what is the best method to brighten her up?

also my mate has a machine polisher he can lend me, am i wise to do this after never using one before?

p.s i am not going to be any of these overpriced dodo thingys so am hoping for advice as goodwill....

I'm taking my Leon to my local valeting place for them to Valet and machine polish for £75.

Once they have done that I will just polish it with autoglym SRP once a month.
