Nice car to drive i am impressed with it so far.





Its going to RJ Automotive soon for:

Colour code all the black trim and handles

4 Motion lower valances front and back

Rear spoiler most likley an ABT one

and a badge less two bar grill.

Other than that it will be 18's and dropped slightly

its not what i would call quick but its quick enough its a 1.4S

Those VW engines have good torque power, even the 1.4S engine, nice car there mate, how much was it if you dont mind me asking...was it brand new?

its a 2000 V reg second hand from a garage paid £7000 for it.

I was expecting it to be very heavy and very slow but i was well suprised.

nice m8, i like golfs a lot, parents av just got a 1.9 tdi, 130 bhp, 6 speed, which is lowered and got the gti bbs alloys on it, tis very nice

gotta love those golfs, took a golf GTI TDI 150bhp for a test drive today,, GOD DAM those things are quick, rang LV and was quoted (£1100) insurance thats well cheap! i pay £900 on my corsa C sxi 1.2 16v!

Our car is only group 4!!!!! A lot of car for that group insurance was cheaper than the old escort we had lol!!

Same gere... golfs are quite slow the petrol ones anyway.... Even the GTi is quite sh1t.

7K could of went on something better IMO.

£7000 seems a bit expensive to me....there was a 1999 t-reg for sale mear me 1.4 same as yours for 5,990? and that was with 50,000 on the clock?

just another thing...are golfs like this cheap to insure? liverpool and victoria quoted me less for a 1.4 t-reg than for my 1.2 16v corsa w-reg?

nice car though mate, looks immaculate. and it will look quality sitting low on 18's!

Funny thing is your old 1.2sxi is quicker. I drove my bro-in-laws 1.4 golf and it was soooooo dead,

The way everyone goes on about "how well they are built" and "german engineering"

This may of been the case with the old VW's, but the new ones are no where near as well built as the old ones. they cost a bomb to fix too. I also dont like VW customer service. it sucks. This is my opinion. Sorry if its upset anyone in anyway
