i was reading in the newspaper about a man being arrested for having a video of another man having sex with a gorilla and how this was a really serious offence.

It got me thinking that throughout history i imagine a lot of humans have had sex with animals, and i also wonder how many animals have sex with different species of animals, like the monkey and the frog.

But how come spunk/sperm only works with the same species? Surely some combos would produce a baby of sorts? Or has it all happened thousands of years ago to produce the wide array of species today and now everything is all spunked out and it only works when having sex with the same species. As if every combo of animal sex has already occured.

Have i stumbled across a new theory of evolution here?

Would hardly be classed as evolution imo, as how is one species having sex with another a form of evolving?

There have been cases where a human has had sex with whatever animal and a being has been born from it, still born or shortly died after usually though

The genes across different species are incompatible. Horses and Zebras for example can successfully mate, but horses and dogs not so much.
