hi all , so this is my second project log, ive bought a 1.4 corsa sport as my 1.0 was getting a bit slow. here is my other one while i was changing the door:

so i went to clacton on sea to pick this up. bodywork is in good contion , interior is also good, just needed a new steering wheel as the horn buttons are ripped and a new drivers side front door car as somehow it had a whole in . its done 80,000 miles as soon as we get it back it will getting a proper service.
heres the car:

so today i swopped all the suspension over from the old to new, forgot how some of it came off .

got he calipers and the drums painted gold.

fitted my german style lights on the back alng with the suspension.

heres how it stands so far with the suspension transplant:

and heres the one i took it all off of, my first project, deadliner, which happens to be up for sale if anyone is interested.

also today i managed to get the oil changed, looked at the clutch and sorted that , got the temperature gague working with a new thermostat. so its running all good now,

next up:
- new exhaust system
-find out where i can get the wheels machined to the correct offset so i can lower the back more.
-engine work
-new disks.

so theres plenty to be getting on with

yeah it does sit way too high at the back, i need to get the wheels machined slightly so i can lower the back more, atm its on 60 from 40 rear, bought 50mm for the rear a little while ago and it rubbed so its either get the wheels machined or roll the arches. do you know if you can roll the arches and still have the normal plastics still on?
nathan87: cool mate, only a couple of minutes then, we should meet up some day.

i had a day off work today so i thought id finish transferring stuff over from the old one into the new and get to work on some other stuff on the new one. manged to take a look at a dodgy rubble strip today, went to vauxhall last week to pick up a new one, got the one off the door to find that the person before hand hadn't removed the glue and stuck the new one on top, hence why it wasnt sticking. managed evenuatlly to get the glue off and level, ready for the new rubble strip to go on tomorrow.

this is what someone had stuck the rubble strip onto . the glue from the ruble strip stayed on the rubble strip when i pulled it off

finally got my carbon fibre effect heater panel in after hours of it not fitting, couldnt manage to get the vents to line up with the controls etc.. but its all in now. havent put the new strip on cause the weather is a bit shite today.

i also took the radio out today, some idoit had wired it in to a constant live feed so it drained the battery. anyway got it out to find it had been wired in like this, when the block connectors fitted :S

today i went to powerflow to get the exhaust done , cat back, now sounds very loud and raspy , which is good, cav slabs are on, fitted a new lamba sensor because i think mine was playing up. so ive been spending a lot of money in the last month, luckily it was payday today
ive also got some 60mm rear springs which i should be picking up tomorrow some time.

im gonna be doing a vectra front brake conversion aswell, got the carriers , just need the capliers and ill be ordering the disks and pads! a easy think to do , which will have its benifits.

nice and low.
