I wondered if that was the same one as I was sorting through my pictures. I saw him crash but didn't have the camera out in time, shame as he really didn't hit the tyres that hard it seemed

From what he said, he thinks the TRE bent as he switched; was using modified hubs and he thinks the extra lock put too much strain on the steering.

He must be gutted then if it wasn't even his fault

He fitted the hubs and didn't uprate the rods, so he admits he was partly to blame.

he crashed twice, i reckon he bent that rod the first time he crashed, that didnt bend twice so that cant be to blame for both crashes

Twice you say? The plot thickens.
I wouldn't go for an RX7 as a drift car anyway unless I was pretty damn handy at it.

Canon 400D, few years old now but still going strong, fingers crossed! Standard 18-55mm lens, I usually use a Tamron 70-300 but it's decided not to work with my camera, joys of cheap lenses! Cheers

A good set of pics there mate, shame about the zoom lens playing up
I've used http://www.lensesforhire.co.uk/ three times now, PVS, TVL and Renault World Series for zoom lenses. Not sure what Canon prices are like but I had a Nikkor 18-200mm (great all round lens but didn't focus very far away at full zoom) for three days for about £35 and more recently 70-300mm (fully epic - need one of these in my life) for three days at about £32. However that doesn't include the cost of posting it back which is about £7 or £8 depending on how heavy it is as you have to send it special delivery unless using a courier.
Great service though, they have a Facebook page too and they post when they get new lenses in etc
Numberwang!
