alot of the time you will get a replacement with your insurance company. may be an excess charge tho.

See if you can get it done on your insurance. Most policies include windscreen cover. Doesn't affect your no claims bonus and you usually only pay £30 maybe £40.

Are you TPFT? And if so, who with? Ring your insurance anyway. Quinn for example DID (and still may) offer a discount code with National Windscreens - I got a new screen for a Corsa C for £111 iirc.

Yeah im TPFT! I go through Adrian Flux as an insurance broker, think my insurers this year are Equity red star. I've only been driving 7 months so dont want to risk any problems through insurance.

TPFT as rule of thumb don't cover glass. As I say though, ring your insurance co and see if they have any deals set up with a certain glass company to get a discount

That sounds like the price through an insurance company.

Double check that is the stand alone price (i.e. not through an insurance company)

Sounds like a cracking price if its right

count yourself lucky you aren't replacing the rear window on a DC2, i know a girl that paid £1100 for a replacement

on another note to OP, just try a local garage or something. i have a mate that used to work at one and they had a guy that would come in and change them for a good price worth a go i suppose

Ouch! Mines is just a bit of a shitter as i got a producer to get it fixed so time and money are tight. I loved having a corsa, everything was so cheap!
