I'm halfway through it at the moment, I've rooted my HTC Desire (hi john) which now runs pfmod, I boot into pfmod and then connect it to my PS3 (switched off), turn on the PS3, hit the eject button and now it lets me load up programs (installed an FTP server and Backup Manager). Now I'm in the middle of a 7gb download of some media which I'll ftp to the PS3 and try to play.

You can disconnect the Desire once the PS3 has booted and exploited and reboot it into Android. PS3 returns to normal when you reboot it also.

Yesterday was quite a nervous day as I did about an hours reading and thought fuck it lets root the HTC Desire using unrevoked which is a self contained program, was quite worried about bricking my new phone.

i had mine done last week i have got a 1TB external hard drive and got somebody i know put loads of games on it for me

jamie i have got a stick for mine which lets u play the games and i have got the games on the hard drive

yeah you cant play online which i dont anyway so thats why i got one

i got my stick off the lad i know which cost £40 there are a few fakes going around tho got a website here if you want it u2u me

i dont know if it bans you i havent tryed but been told you cant play online with the games

you cant update you ps3 either so i have turned the updates offf you have to be on version 3.41 or lower to be able to play the back up games.

No I havent updated in months, When I first heard about it on the news I held off just incase.
Thanks for the u2u Andy, will have a good read later. Ive seen some on dealextreme very cheap but they arent able to update as they are deffo fakes.

received mine the other day.. installed the backup manager and after pressing a few buttons got fifa to install off the external hdd..woohoo works good. got it off volumerates.com cheap

theres a new update out for the usb stick that lets you play online i havent updated mine yet tho
