Who else is staying up for this? Was already to watch Qualifying this morning only for some water to get in the way of things, was quite funny to see the teams making boats to float down the pit lane though

Should be interesting having Qualifying and the race on the same day, cant fuck up in Q or it could be race over, adds a bit of pressure to the drivers. Heard it could be raining still over there as well so could make for a interesting grid.

Hamilton already down 5 places after a gearbox change Looks like his championship charge is in tatters now, unless we get a mental race. Red Bulls looking pretty dominant in practice, if its dry i cant see anything other than a 1-2 but how many times have we said that this season

Praying for rain here (but not too much) and a miracle, come on Hamilton!

I'm staying up to watch it. I wouldn't write Hamilton or anyone else off at this point as everything can change after 1 race!

Senna/Prost style into the first corner

Nah, you're right Ben D, it isnt over just looking very unlikely as the RB's look good here and Mclaren less so, add that to the fact he could be starting around 9th-10th it looks bleak.

He cant afford a no points finish thats for sure.

i hope it's still wet though. if hamilton qualifies say 4th + the 5 place drop that's 9th. with a wet start i can just imagine him doing a banzai move down the outside into the first corner which would shit the life out of the other racers.

It needs to be a wet race for Hamilton to win, his balls out, fuck the consequences style could play into his hands or end his title hopes, which is why i love watching Lewis race.

How pissed off would you have been if you had just got a ticket for qualifying yesterday Awesome if you have a race ticket though, 2 for the price of 1

I tend to agree, if it's a wet track, then it's advantage Hamilton imo, also if Hamilton has proved anything it's that he is a gutsy driver & isn't afraids of having a go.

My Prediction is he'll qualify 9th after his grid drop and finish 4th/5th atleast in the actual race, maybe even better!

Red Bull and Ferrari take each other out at the start, Jenson to hold everyone up with his "smooth" style, Hamilton to go round the entire track sideways and win.

Or something like that
