nice looking cars back in the day, my old gf had a white xr2i, looked great and went pretty well.

Turned into a pure rust bucket very fast tho, first to go was round the filler neck lol.

I used to want an XR2i about 6-7 yrs ago - couldn't find a fair example for the feeble budget I had at the time though

my brothers mate had an rs turbo one of these, i remember his mate having an rs1800 and them two racing down a dual carriageway with my in the passenger seat.i was only about 14 but loved the sound of the turbo

I remember about 13 years ago my mate's brother has a bright red XR2i with a Scorpion big bore pipe on it and lowered to fuck. He was in the army and was loaded at the time.

I remember one roasting summers day he was home and was getting ready to go out. Next thing two fit girls and his mate turned up and then I got one awesome memory of them getting in and the noise it made, then they blasted off to New Brighton....

Awesome memory, I have one similar that made me want Nova SR's

Used to be down the shops and this lad was a postman so after work he would be cruising around near our school, lovely white Mk1 Nova SR 1.3, all the girls got well excited when it went past sitting on some TSW rims.

When I saw that I wanted one.

It's ok Henry, it didn't have the 16's on then. Didn't look as good.

Would have looked good on 15" pro race 1.2 as well IMO
