Where do you stand on your mates talking to your ex?
I know if its been years or you split up with her etc then it shouldn't matter but in some situations does it matter?
Should there be a time when its acceptable and when its unacceptable?
Would you be more pissed off if they weren't friends before you or if they only knew each other through you?
I just got thinking before about my mates talking to my ex and i couldn't work out if i was being reasonable or not. So where do you stand?

Tbh, I've always said to my mates if you go out with any of my ex's, then I'll ignore you and never talk again, only one mate has done that and I aint spoken to him for years.

Think it depends on why you split with the ex but can't see why any of your mates would want to talk to your ex anyway?

Depends entirely on circumstances tbh. If it was amicable and you don't have feelings for them then why shouldn't they be happy?

Well i suppose i best give a bit more details then.
She finished it because she basically had a mid life crisis in her twenties, i still have feelings for her etc, most of my mates only know her through me and wouldn't have spoken to her otherwise, since we split up they now talk to her but hardly to me.
Im not too arsed about it all to be honest but im just trying to work out if i have a right to be pissed off

Ive never posted a pic of her but you may have seen her at PVS last year.
Its not a case of them getting together its more a case of people i thought were mates talking to my ex when they know how i feel about her etc when they havent even got time to answer a text from me.
Jambo im not being a jeb Just trying to get on with life and go on with my mates and stuff but its hard working out who your mates are.

Depends how you met i suppose, my last ex i met through a group of us..
So her mates were my mates etc..
We've now split up, but she doesn't talk to anyone since getting back with her ex! Just ignores her friends and even her own parents!

Women clearly think the opposite to men then!
Its not the fact its what she's doing as she's seeing someone else and i dont really care. Ye it hurts but im not too arsed in reality but its more the fact people i considered mates, that wouldn't know her unless it was for me and never spoke to her when we were together now talk to her but dont have time for me.

Shagging a woman doesn't give you life long rights to her sexual services ffs
I had a laugh the other day seeing one of my mates sniffing around an ex on fb. He always wanted a go but had no idea what a nutcase she was/is
I had a giggle and thought 'the best of luck to you'

A pretty varied reaction then.
It seems i have a right to be pissed off because they know how i feel and they havent got time for me.
But
I cant be pissed off with it forever and should just say fair enough do what you want cya later.

Depends on how close the mate is, how long u were with ur ex, if it was only like 2 months or like 6 years. Also depends how long they wait to move in for the taking, and most inportantly, approaching you FIRST.

i dont think there is anything wrong with mates seeing exes
but
i broke up with my last lass the next day i started seeing her best friend
we are now engaged and have 2 kids and they are still best friends
so my opinion might be a bit scued (i dont think thats a word but i know what it means lol)

Girls are people, not human property, they don't belong to somebody just because you've slept with them
