Good choice, but i'd get Fallout 3 first. The stories dont mix but the first one is like £10 now and by the time you complete it nv will be cheaper too. Iv been playing it for about 8 hours and love it. Also http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=541849

Ok first slap there is already a thread for this.
second slap and removal of pants play the first one and all the expansions first, it can be acquired very cheaply.

Seriously if you over look fallout 3 and the expansions you are missing out on an awesome gaming experience. Its decorated more then a painters radio or sassy minx's face for a reason

its essentially exactly the same game in terms of looks and the engine used
the only difference is the missions, story and a few tweaks, number 3 is a very good game, as new vegas is also.

isnt it like 80 odd hours play time or something if you included all side quests ect
thats like saying sonic 2 should have been download content for sonic 1 :/

I am only thinking of you, I want you to enjoy the whole experience. Fallout 3 is quite possibly the most epic single player gaming experience I have ever had.
I would suggest you play the main game and the Brotherhood of Steel which continues the main story. All the other expansions are optional but all worth a play through. I clocked up 96 hours of gaming for the lot and still have some side quests left.

fallout 3 was brilliant, dont think you would have the patience or mental ability for it though
