my insurance company put me in touch with there solicitors and they have been following things up, they have now booked me an appointment to see a medical expert, have any of you had to see one of these? what happens at this appointment? the appointment isnt for another month.
im still in quite a bit of pain, mainly in the lower part of my back but also in my neck i went back to my docs an she put me on some strong pain killers and strong anti inflammatory

i had an appointment with a medical expert. they just ask you questions about where you feel pain and get you to show them where it hurts.
they are basically a doctor being paid loads of monies to type a report up on your injury.
seriously, nothing to worry about.
my neck and back still hurts from march, so don't expect the pain to go away any time soon

I was booked in for one of these but strangely they ended up contacting me with with a figure before I even went to it! I'd imagine its just the same sort of check up you had at the hospital?

I had this done twice. First was instructed by my solicitor and was more of a medical check up. Second time was instructed be the other party and was more like a clever as fuck doctor grilling me for an hour to look for inconsistencies in my story. I guess it was cause they thought it was bullshit. I just retold everything and answered all the questions as best as I could remember. Got a court date after that and had to go over it all again!

I wasn't expecting this thread.
What about the kids who had possible internal injuries? Do they have a couple of broken legs and can't go to school because of the trauma?
