Do you have a light on the dash to tell you when your side/headlights are on?

SCN can't agree on whether you should or not.

Different clusters are possible but I can't remember a car that doesn't have one.

Yes there is, also it will put all the dash and dial back lights on. I always drive with my side lights on so I can see the really dark dials, rubbish design imo for the dial cluster in mine (6 clock sport dials)

It's an FR, 4 dials I think.

Back lights all come on, just no symbol for it.

I know its not quite the same car, but wiring must be similar - My Fabia has a symbol for dipped beam and main beam, but nothing to tell me that the sidelights are on, apart from the backlights to the dials of course.

My 07 FR doesnt have a light to say sidelights are on, only dipped. Just the backlights come on, and I agree with the dash being dark

The full beam one is there, in the centre on it's own just above the middle black bit.

I only get a sidelight indicator, nothing changes on the dash when i put the dipped on. The full beam shows, though.

Having no light to tell me the side lights are on pisses me off. The Volvo has a light telling me when the dipped beams are on, and automatically turns them off when the car is turned off. It doesn't however tell me, or turn off the side lights, or even give me a noise of some form when the door is open. Twice it's been left on all night Thank fuck it has a beastly battery

It's strange looking down and not seeing a wee green symbol, that's what made me look into it.

SCN still can't agree either.

im pretty sure there is no specific dipped beam light symbol- only a side light symbol that comes on whenever you have your lights on - you don't get either?!
