I like Jakeys thinking

John, brakes where pennies!

Not wanting eibahcs, it rides perfectly and handles perfectly whilst retaining useage over speedbumps. Don't wanna mod it, every problem ive had with this car is becuase of a pissing mod. Wish i had gotten a standard one!

How far up/down has the spring snapped? I was being quite serious tbf. Take it out, cut the same amount of the other side, clean it up, paint it, bang it back on.

Mate I'd just look on eBay for one as it will only set you back £20 or so. Failing that try cliospares.co.uk as they are always breaking cliosports and the prices are decent (I rang up for a rear caliper, they had 10 in stock and charged me £20)

The springs are an easy job on your drive, should take less than an hour

I lowered mine 40mm, sat perfectly, didn't look lowered to the untrained eye, drove even more brilliantly round bends, didn't make any difference to speed bumps and certainly didn't devalue the car in any way. Plus the springs only cost me £40.

Not the best pic but its the only one i have left from the side:

How the hell did you not know it was snapped? On the 206 I snapped little over 3 inches at the top and knew straight away lol
