Been speaking to my local dealer and been looking at getting one. What's peoples opinions on buying new and finance etc. Anyone on here with experience? Been offered what I think is a good deal with a few extras on like the xenons etc. Just need to be convinced whether to go for it or not? Any opinions welcome

STFU dated

The new Megane looks almost identical you moron that's how timeless the design is.

How much you paying out of interest? If you are going down finance route if you spending that kinda money I would expect nothing but 0% APR

Compared to my corsa it looks very modern. I've wanted a vxr since they came out as I love the design. Yeah, will be 0%. Just under 20k with the climate control, xenon pack, folding mirrors and auto wipers and light pack. Is this a decent deal would you say? I thought it was.

Too expensive, far too expensive.

Go to Astons in Melton Mowbray and get that car for £16,995.

Have you looked at Astons Vauxhall. Can't believe how cheap they are on there. I work it out at about 18k for what you are after

Don't bother with AFL or climate, totally pointless.

I have S&L on mine, auto wipers and headlights, TBH I could live without it.

All the things you list won't make any difference. Just save your money.

AFL as in xenons, far from pointless.

20k, or even 17k when the new sporthatch will be out soon is a bit expensive though.

Totally pointless John when you can buy a set of HIDS for the standard headlights for about £40 quid.

If I'm honest Lee, go and get a nearly new one rather than a brand new one.

Loads of them around to choose from with various specs.

Cheers, I'm in no rush so its good to know i can get one cheaper. The spec of the arctic seems really good though. Are the optional extras pointless then? I just figured i may aswell have them if I'm spending the money? will they do 0% on these ones that are 3k cheaper? Did you buy yours new Ojc?

Yes Astons will do 0%.

Bought mine 4 months old with 2k on the clock for £16,500 I think. Inside the log book was a reciept from the original owner who paid £22k for it

Honestly mate, don't buy new when the new VXR is out in around a year, get one with low mileage with loads of warranty left.

Me & Stocker done the same, saved loads.

Climate biggest waste of money ever. If you are too hot open the window, if you are too cold close the window turn up the heat.

Don't let them railroad you into buying a new one or paying well over the odds.
