I get back from the gym to find my 2100 points have sold for £21.00 (alright i thought considering i only paid £16 for them from Tesco ).

However i look at my emails and i get this:

Dear ash-go,

hi there i just sent payment ,no need 2 post out just send the code to me via ebay messages or e-mail 2 me at sam_parker1987@hotmail.co.uk thanks

- samantha9319

And a separate email from PayPal that says:

Your buyer asked his or her bank to reverse the payment for the following
transaction:

Buyer's name: mark jordan
Buyer's email: high.jinx@btinternet.com
Transaction date: 10 Nov 2010
Transaction amount: 21.00 GBP

When i go into my paypal account im presented with a dispute that that gives me the following options:

How would you like to resolve this issue?

1. I have posted the item and I can provide proof that the item was posted through an approved postal service to the address on the Transaction Details page.

2. I have not posted the item and I will refund the payment.

3. I have refunded the payment for this transaction.

WTF do i do? Post the item as normal and select option 1?

Somone is trying it on. I wouldn't post or give the code via email. They have attempted to reverse the payment straight away?

Send a piece of shit in an envelope special next day delivery, so you have something to track, and leave it at that.

Resell the code, do him over and turn the tables around.

Just checked the times, payment was made and the email asking to send the code at 6:23 and the pay pay reversal email was received at 73.

I don't mind sending the item at all and showing PayPal proof of postage.

I only put postage at £1 as was going to just send it standard 1st class but ill send it recorded, as long as i know there's no way they can claim the money back if i post it and select option 3 and show PayPal proof.

What do i do, take a picture of the postage receipt and email it to them?

So he paid and then reversed the payment straight after, hoping you wouldn't notice. What a genius he is.

Don't post it, if you really want to post something then go with Whittie's suggestion.

Why is there not an option for "the buyer is trying to do me over"?

Yeah, send it special delivery. They've just had by by saying their Recorded Signed for service isn't a fully trackable service, therefore my items have been lost. It costs 35p more I think.

Why reverse a payment though?. Think.
Do not post and do not email the code.
He is obviously hoping you didn't see the reversal and you sent them via email to a different addy. I'd avoid and relist tbh.

Filming yourself at the post office is probably the only proof you can give Paypal that they can't dispute.

Could he have been hacked, ebay user name Samantha, email and pay pal address Mark Jordan? In which case it is a bit harsh.

Where is the address for this Mark Jordan (as in town)?

The samantha9319 username on eBay says that they are from Merseyside if that helps.

Good thinking. PayPal address shows Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Although what i find strange is that if your account had been hacked and £20 had gone out would you know about it and file a dispute within half an hour?

Also, on this Samantha's feedback, shes bought another 2100 Microsoft points today...

Won't you get some sort of black mark against you're ebay name as they'll only see it that you've messed him around, not whats actually happened...
