hi all, i have a corsa b merit, pretty basic but as it has to last me the next 3 years through uni i may as well get it up to a decent spec. here are a few pics of when i first got it last month:
in the month i have had it i have done the following:
- lowered it 60mm all round on spax shocks and springs
- added a full sportex system including straight through pipe and 3" tip
- replaced the rear wiper with a punto one
- fitted flat front wipers
- fitted a badgeless grille
- started on the rear debadge
i also have these tigra wheels to put on at the weekend:
my future plans are to:
- fit a sport interior including a gsi steering wheel
- fit tigra alloys
- get an aerial for it
- replace the headunit
- get some tailored mats
- add some ice blue headlight bulbs
- get the rust sorted at a bodyshop
- finish the debadge (bloody rain!)
- oh and to finally fit the chrome interior vectra handles i've had in my room for the past month
as it stands now:
i'm not a mechanic by any stretch of the imagination but i want to learn. so i've joined this site mainly for inspiration, tips, advice and vaulable opinions and also to meet like-minded people who love their corsas, lol! i know it's not a 'sport' but i hope i'm welcome and look forward to hearing from you cheers, alex.

secondly my car is currently off the road due to not being able to afford to fix it but this will change in january. so not long after xmas it will be:
- getting the tracking sorted
- getting the alternator replaced
- having a brand new set of 195/45/15 toyos
- receiving a full service
has its mot in february so it needs sorting!
thought i would do an updated list seeing as i keep adding things to it and losing track in my head, lol!
done
- badgeless grille
- flat wipers
- punto wiper
- debadged rear
- lowered 60mm on spax shocks and springs
- tigra alloys
- full sportex exhaust system with 3" tip
- tigra scuttle
- new tax disc holder

- sport/sxi interior including doorcards
- spoiler - january
- wind deflectors - january
- tailored mats - xmas present
- new plates
- new stereo - january
- fit glovebox
- blue dash bulb kit - xmas present
- 195/45/15 toyos - january
- depos - am attempting to make my own after xmas
- rickbrook doorpins - xmas present
- colour-coded bumpers - rear one coming in january, need a front one!
- sort the rust patches
- refurb wheels anthracite
- paint tops of new bumpers anthracite
- smoked side repeaters - january
- new steering wheel
- corsa c sunglasses holder
- 80mm rear springs
- full service - january
- tracking - january
