While in london at the weekend I visted Bose on Regent Street and was astonished by their new offer to the market
I have always been a bit wary of Bose after having a lifestyle system in the past - I find them good but you pay well over the odds for what could be had for half the price
however the new VideoWave they have just released is simply fantatsic IMO
It has all the speakers built into the display unit but the sound was immense
You get the Display (46 inch - note its not a TV so needs a TV source such as Sky etc), the hub for connections, all in one remote
http://www.bose.co.uk/GB/en/home-and-personal-audio/videowave-entertainment-system/
I thought it was brilliant - anyone else seen these or heard these

I'm sure the picture and sound is amazing but I would want something that looked like it was worth 6k, it looks like a PC monitor

A few years down the line, and it'll be obsolete. £6,000 wasted.
IMO of course.

Looks good, but doesn't justify the price tag

This is like you and BMW whitter, you can get a better car for less money, wouldn't have a BMW badge though.
You could get a brilliant setup for 6k.

As said, it's overpriced and it's not doing anything new. And for 6K you could easily get a better setup - Pioneer Kuro then ~4k to spend on audio.
Edit - What's so great about the technology? I can't see anything that really stands out....

The same reason Apple fanboys pay over the odds for hardware that is mostly the same as their PC equivalents.
