Is it just me that thinks it looks shit. The proportions are all wrong, firstly the B-pillar is right by the drivers head and it uses a £500 kitcar dash that started out as some blokes electrical engineering degree project.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

The driver shouldn't be looking out the window, you talking about the thing above the "37", gives all needed info without extra gauges = less weight

Are you serious? It's a rally car, it spends more time sideways than in a straight line. It's very important in a rally car to be able to look out your side windows

The dash has lots of information but you need to cycle through a menu to get to it. Can't really see them wanting to press the button 10 or 15 times to get some different info.

Not at a 90 degree angle I wouldn't have thought.

I can't do it as i'm in work but look on youtube for "gigi galli big drift" In a red Evo. Tell me he wasn't using his side window whilst travelling 100foot at 90 degrees!

it looks to be mounted fairly solid though.... bracing 2/3rds down and the 3 bars supporting it. If it broke in a crash that would be no bad thing (if it didnt brake out the way)
Fire Ext nozzles are interesting... they'll spray in the driver co-drivers faces. In the blue book i'm sure it states the should be pointed downwards.
Mine are at about 200deg (180 being straight down) and they were mentioned in scruitineering but not failed.

Maybe the nozzle end is adjustable like windscreen washers, I'm sure PRODRIVE know what they are doing

the nozzles arent like washer jets
They spray out at wide angles to give a good spread of extinguishant, not a direct squirt
I didnt say they were wrong.... just different to what I thought regs state. I may be wrong, they may be wrong.

Andway.... they arent adjustable.
You fit them in the place where they will give protection, i.e at the footwell (as fire rises!)
There would be no need for adjustable nozzles.
