wrong (these days anyway)

Pretty much any luxury has VAT on; Mcdonalds is a luxury not a necessity, therefore VAT payable

I see, was a few years ago that I had a choice, thats why I got a takeaway and sat in (on the big mcdonalds so they didn't know you left or stayed)

Most foods are zero rated as are books, magazines etc., children's clothing and equipment for the disabled

Vat is chargeable on EVERYTHING. Certain items are rated at 17.5%, some at 5% and some at 0%.


I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
