Mate of mine picked this up the other week.

98 Rallye with a 16v conversion on throttle bodies and cams. All stripped apart from front door cards, seats, dash and cage.

Est weight around 850kg, est power around 165bhp so it shifts!!

Going to be used on track a LOT next year.

Very nice, I had a black S1 as my first car, it was a little ripper as a 1.3, but I'd say that would go like stink

The colour I always wanted but the S2 was mega bucks, 10 years ago

But I still get tempted by them, I'll see how my next project goes

Bally - no not him.

It had a fair few dents on it when he or it but paintleas dent guy has been out and with it having no interior was really easy for him to get them all. It is very clean, shouldn't be that clean for a track car but hey ho.

It kept with a Honda S2000 up the A1 upto silly speeds. Wasted a cooper s mini. Great little car!!!

Not sure what cams.

Nice is that butler!!

Maybe it is optimistic Lee. Just going by what he said no rear seats, trims, sound deadening, spare wheel but like you say cage added.
