hi all im back with a 5th corsa this time a 1.4 flame red sport

the car is a T reg has 130,000 miles but full service history

i've been after a cheapish corsa for a while now purely so i can learn. I've always got my mates to lower my cars,fit things and paid people to fit and remove my previous engines but now i want to learn.

the car is my girlfriends cousins best mates and she had it up for £600
i found a few faults told her to take £300 or i wasn't interested. She whinged alot but accepted.

It's by no means perfect and is purely a project. Spoilers got laquer peel,rust on the drivers door,rear quater and around the wiper so the main aim is to sort the bodywork with help from my friend.

She says the power steering pump is knackered and leaking but i'm going to remove the engine anyways and attempt the c20seh conversion.

i only have a couple of pics but im getting the car tomorrow morning, going to halfords for some bodge and filler so we can grind back the rust on the boot, treat it and semi smooth it.

i will update as progress goes on,please any help or comments are welcome.

good base car, the panels are all cheap, i replaced every panel on my previous corsa except the passenger door, really does make a difference and all easy to fit, sounds like you've got a good deal on that mate

The multicoloured silver one with terrible panel gaps, I'd advise against doing that tbh.

£300 isn't too bad, loads of miles though.

Just bought some bits and bobs nowt exciting. Bodge, fibreglass, underseal and stone chip. Gunna fill and dints. Smooth boot and weld up the bonnet to be badboyed

Not much of an update but the boot and bonnet were very bad due to rust so managed to get a new boot and bonnet for £30 from a local scrappy and fit them

i forgot to take a pic of the bonnet but it was a state. inderside was rotton and crumbling away

i also sold the sport alloys to hodgy off here so its now on 14'' steelies and sold the front bumper,rear seats and some spare front sport seats i had to dentysri off here.



i'l be undersealing anything i can and painting over it with red hammerite, just generally trying to tidy it up.
