decided i would clean or detail the car today, i did plan spending 3 days on it on a full details but took a little less
car was like this 5 weeks ago and has not been cleaned since so was in a shockingly dirty condition

so then gave it a clean and tada:

products used - a bucket, a sponge a hose and some turtlewax
time spent - 33 minutes
usual CS criticism/comments welcome, thanks bye

Nothing wrong with window tints if done tastefully and not £50 bin bags off eBay.

That looks the nuts. I'd love an Impreza, but not so much the running costs!

cheers lads,
and nath - you say running costs but realistically the only real expensive side is the petrol! only takes 50 quid to fill the tank though. servicing and maintaining is infact quite reasonable. unlike the and i hate to use these 2 letters in this thread but M3

Well i was thinking of down grading to one, but is that mpg 'winter mpg' or 'summer mpg'
In the summer i was doing 32 mpg average knocking about, shops, work, not motorways etc with a little boot but pretty much steady all the time, but since the cold weather its dropped to 26
Megane f1 btw

The average over the year is about 29 I reckon. The 1.8 has notoriously shit MPG for some reason. That's around town driving. Motorways can get as high as low 40's.
