Went and veiwed this today and put a deposit down for it and will hopefully if all goes well, pick it up next weekend.
Photo's robbed from advert.
45,000 miles, Build No. 98 of 100.Thurlby Astra 888 CDTi Silver with lots of extras.
18" 888 Lightweight Racing Dynamics Wheels.
Alcon 330mm 4 Pot Front Brakes.
Twin Engine Map to 200bhp with 330 lb of torque on the sport button or standard 150bhp for economy.
Full Window Tints.
888 Engine Cover.
888 Exhaust.
888 Lowered Suspension and Springs.
Whiteline adjustable RARB.
888 Electric leather Recaro front seats (£1000 each, optional extra at time of build).
Front mounted intercooler.
full Vauxhall service history.
All the usual refinements - A/C, E/W, E/M, CD/Radio, On Board Computer, Cruise Control, plus carbon fibre interior trim, Professionally fitted Parrot full colour display hands free kit, reverse parking sensors.
Number plate is not staying as he is keeping that.
I well happy with it. It is really nice to have a nice newish car.
And it will hopefully fullfill 2 roles, nice decent economy for my work mileage and with a hit of the sport button still satisfy my track day ventures.

Yeah price tag is hefty, but if you consider that they were 19k from new.
They do also have a £2000 front brake set up, then all the other bits I think you get a very good combination of a car.
Supposedly better than a VXR.

Really really like these, would've loved a red one but mrs didn't like it for some silly reason.
Lovely car mate, as you say best of both worlds performance and a nice cheap car to run around in.
