Just gone 9.30pm and some guy knocks on our door.
"I've come round to collect your forms"

That's none of your business mate! You're just trying to sell us Talktalk products, and we're not interested.
"No I'm not, it's all free. Not to worry, I'll go speak to your neighbours instead!" he says, as he walks off...
Cheeky cunt! We tried to look at his "ID" badge on his coat but he wasn't exactly forthcoming at showing us that he was who he said he was!

I had the same a few weeks ago. I saw his ID and it had talk talk on it. Im also with talk talk but switching soon but I didnt tell him because I presumed if he worked for them he would have known.

What they'd have meant is they've installed their own DSLAM's in the exchange, meaning that the 'line' is faster than BT's old 8meg stuff.
They are conmen though.

The ADSL2+ DSLAM's will give double what you were getting on BT's older stuff, even if it's a long line it will still improve on most cases.
