Right before it creeps up on as..Who would like to be part of the Corsa Sport stand at SMC? Hopefully extend it to other regions and make it a really good event for everyone on the site.

Sunday 17th July is the date this year
Here is a video from 2009 so you can have a wee look if you havent been before
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9YiEI5okUE&feature=related

Ive always had a great time and you can enter club competitions.
Corsasport will be having a display stand and we're looking for around 20 cars to showcase on the day.

Please drop me an email to lawrah@corsasport.co.uk please include a photo of your car, your full name and car registration

All over this but a picture of my car may be slightly useless at present as it's the wrong colour and in bits

Last year I didn't know about it till after it'd happened, this year it's going to be an official CS attendance like we have at PVS, TVL, Trax etc. and will be marketed like that to try and include everyone who might be interested.

I'm not knocking your work like, I know what it's like spending time organising things for loads of people to be interested and then have no-one actually turn up but this year, we're trying to get CS back to its roots and one way to do that is getting the name out there by attending more shows. CS has never officially attended a Scottish show as far as I'm aware so this being one of the big ones, it seems a good place to start and hopefully we can make it a good attendance and get some people's attention, hopefully resulting in some new members who like Corsas and then there's one step towards our target

It will be just the same as any other event organised in Scotland. Loads of interest then everyone goes quiet nearer the time. I dont understand why someone would say they were going to go then just not say anything more about it and let it did. Obviously speaking about the RR in particular but the last SMC one wasn't much better as am4nf said.

Yeah it is a bit dissapointing that..but hopefully having other regions involved will motivate people to acutally go and meet each other and have a good day.

Corsa B, C and D.

The other regions are also being canvassed so in case Scotland can't get together enough people on it's doorstep it'll still be well subscribed.

Personally I'm hopeful of it going well. There is certainly demand for it and there's no reason why it shouldn't be at least as big as something in the south of England, if not bigger.

I don't think it's an issue of being tightfisted, really it's not so expensive. I think it's more than people aren't clear it's going to go well and to that end, being positive will actually make it better.

To those people wanting to support it can I ask that you get money ready and ensure the date is clear, that's really all you need to do. The show itself is already well established and the CS organisation is in place, I don't see it being particularly difficult to do well.

But it does hinge on the members. Optimism please.
