Ballague hasn't had any sources in Liverpool since Rafa was in charge. If Torres does want to go then we'll keep him until the summer at least, I doubt it though he seems happy and so long as we start building again I don't see why he won't stay. Chelski are on the decline.

Poses the question though is Torres on his way out? not bothered tbh, if he is constantly going to be throwing a strop and not giving his all then we dont need him

I'm made up this lad has signed! Give that shit about a torres a rest though, he's not said anything or thrown a strop and he's gonna stay so he can play with Luis Suarez

I'm fairly resigned to Torres switching to Chelsea tbh

Why? Because there's some rumours (mostly attention seeking by Guilleme Ballbag) that he wants to discuss terms? I'm not having that at all, he told us we need to invest, we've just proven we are going to so he'll stay, simples.

"Fernando Torres believes he can fulfil his dream of winning the Champions League after completing his move to Chelsea from Liverpool."

"It's my dream to win the Champions League and I'm sure I can, playing for Chelsea."

"I'm really happy and I'm sure I'm doing one of the biggest steps forward in my career, joining a club like Chelsea."

To be fair I, along with thousands of liverpool fans believed the words of this lad in interviews such as this:

'I will never play for another english club' etc:
http://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/liverpool-fc/126384-liverpool-fc-star-fernando-torres-insists-i-will-never-play-for-manchester-united.html

'I am professional and I always fulfil my deals. "I haven't considered leaving, although in football that depends on the club.'
http://www.sport.co.uk/news/Football/48911/Torres_rules_out_Reds_exit.aspx

'I feel like a scouser':
http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/torres-i-feel-like-a-scouser

Fair enough things change in football, but he's ALWAYS given the impression in the past that he's in for the long haul, the fact he stayed through the worst times of our recent history and wouldn't stay for another 5 months after seeing our intent in this transfer market etc show's that halo was plastic (like the flags they wave at chelski). The fact he also spoke in the way he did about the club underlines even more how little respect he actually had.

So yes, I put my faith in him staying but I don't think I was the only one.

I don't feel that way, i'm genuinely feeling positive about our club under these new owners. They've instilled alot of what is described as 'The Liverpool Way' back into the club and I respect them for alot of what they have done in the short time they have been here. I expect us to follow up this window with some decent spending in the summer after we've appointed the right CEO.
