Right to try and be a bit more organised and so the meets can be more evenly spread, I'm going to plan a base for each meet for the rest of 2011 which should give me time to do some homework to find pubs and things rather than just picking a random pub each month.

Upto now, this is what I've come up with, just from a quick think so it's not set in stone but it fits in most of people's comments from the 2011 ideas thread

March - Guy's Thatched Hamlet, near Garstang
May - Cumbria, I'm thinking an afternoon, a nice drive then to a pub for some food
June - Evo Triangle, few laps and photo ops then pub for food
July - Llandudno, usual format
August - Cat and Fiddle
September - Trax
October - Mascrat Manor, Warrington
November - Salt Cellar, Middlewich
December - Poachers, Preston

That includes the main points we had interest in, Llandudno, Evo Triangle, Cumbria and Cat and Fiddle with a few normal pub meets in there too. I've also just thought of a potential NWNW meets Yorkshire meet which could fit in place of one of the October-December meets but I'll need to talk to Sam about that one and see what his thoughts are.

If there's anything there that people think won't work then let us know, I've thought about bank holidays and things and I think everything fits in ok but if you notice otherwise shout up and I'll try and rework it.

All the above will be on the first Sunday of the month so if you particularly want to attend a certain one then you can clear your diary in advance

I think that's about it so lets make it a good year with some epic meets

not a close group thing at all everyone is welcome and its definatly something i want to go to more just seem to be working everytime there is one lol

Cheers mate - actually just had a chat in work about coming up your area for meetings on the Thursday/Friday and then Monday/Tuesday for the weekend at end of Feb/beginning of March - you guys free then? I could make a weekend of it then

I've got no plans for then upto now. Expected completion date for my cage was the 18th so we might be on that for that weekend

I'll definately do the Cat and Fiddle meet!

Hopefully either the Rocket or the Kitten will be legal by then so I'll come in one of those

That's all yet to be decided. This was just a base plan so I could be more organised about the meets that need a bit more planning, like Cumbria, Evo Triangle etc.
