Been meaning to do one of these for a while but never got round to it so here goes

Ended up back in a CTR in November when I bought this off a forum member on ctroc

SPEC

Jackson Racing Super Charger with 8 psi upgrade (CPL Racing)
AEM CAI filter for Summer,
Gruppe M for Winter,
Honda Data K pro,
Buddy Club Spec 4 exhaust including DC Sports Race manifold & decat, DC Sports Race Exhaust spare,
650 injectors,
Quaife LSD
ClutchMasters Stage 3 clutch
New Brembo discs & Ferrodo pads up front, new standard discs & pads at the rear
Goodridge Brake lines all round.
Ebaich camber arms and bolts and TGM racing geo setup

Anyway this is how it looked when I collected it

tbf I havent done much myself so far just done a bit of shopping and enjoyed driving it

Took this off as I was paranoid about it

Put this on

Still needs a bit more of a fettle so it sits straighter

Also bought this to put on with an OEM back box

As spec 4, decat, DC header is a bit too loud for me

ie

http://www.facebook.com/#!/video/video.php?v=483089362702

Just need to find somewhere that sells a 2.5inch gasket and some bolts as the spec 4 fits differently as you can see here

Also got these to fit, Ebay bargin ftw

Should sit like so when on

Popped these on the other day too as the oem ones were squeaky feckers

Only downside is that the car is suffering from milano pink syndrome currently weighing up paint but not sure if I want to splash the dosh. In the mean time I gave it a clay, polish and wax to atleast make is glossy even if its like a colour chart

Removed the JRSC badges whilst I was there for under cover mode

Will take some proper pics once the springs etc are on

I had a facelift before and thought that but the old ones have grown on me. Subtle drop and I think the less clutered front looks good

Right dispite a stinking cold the weather was too nice to not get on with fitting my springs so I manned up and did it

Springs from egay

was going to help update one of the how to guides on another forum so here are a couple of snaps anyway

first off get generous with the WD40

out with old

in with new

Fronts

If anyone knows how to get the track rods off without busting the boot let me know :bad-words:

So need to buy a set of these asap

Before

After

Ignore the hellaflush camber as I need to take it for a geo setup asap

Has had the camber arms set for the TGM settings on standard springs so now its on these its got a fair bit more

Once ive washed it I will go and take some proper pics

Geometry now been setup, Drives epic now

turn in is sharper, bit more weighty steering and seems nice and stable

TGM and TDI were both fully booked up and I needed it done asap as I had but everything well out and it felt quite horrible to drive and unsafe

So took my print out from what is was before to elite in rainham.
They are a bit on the expensive side but were really helpful and spent a good couple of hours setting it up nice.

Will upload graphs in a bit

Heres what it was set to

Old settings from a couple of years back

What it was when I arrived after I had pulled it apart and reassembled

What I have now

Nothing special just nice and even and gives a smooth stable ride. Im going to drive it for a bit and take it to castle coombe in april and may add a little more rear camber if I think it needs it after then.

Well happy with how it drives at the moment though its like a new car, although that maybe because the geo was so out on the way up there

Impressed how close I got the camber when I put the bolts back in by eye though

Some slightly better pics after a clean

Gave it a clay, polish and wax using the megs kit that I had.

Still faded but at least its shiney and smooth now

Wasnt really anywhere to go decent for pics so just rolled down the front to the sea front

Even polished up the exhaust

If I remember I will take a picture of it on level ground at work tomorow to show how it sits properly

Well now I am happy with how it drives the only things left to do are cosmetic

Wheels need attention

Do I refurb?

Or buy some rota's?

Also The paint is unfortunatly in a bad state of fade and has a few chips. Dont know if to sort this or leave it. As I like to use my cars and there is no point if its only going to chip again  unless I can get a thicker coat or something put on. just the roads round here are terrible and I know at least 4 of the big uns on the front are from the time I have owned it

Nope and still hi comp so pritty plug and play. On road the temps are never any higher then standard. Couple of people running them as pure track setups have added coolers but even then its not 100% needed
