Hi everyone,as some of you know i'm Danscorsasxi's brother and i've just bought a black corsa b SXi 1.2 16v.Went to pick it up last night with Dan and my dad.Took some photos of it this morning before work
First things i did to it was fit my brother's old sprayed V grill, punto rear wiper, new sidelight and headlight bulbs and replaced the side repeaters with the standard orange ones

Nice mate, looks clean that! Plans sound good. But IMO I wouldn't keep the SXi alloys

Can't wait for some updates Luke !! If Dans is anything to go buy its gonna be a lovely car .
I'm with sean on the not keeping the sxi's , with all your plans a new set off wheels would set it off ! Slabs ? Or be a bit cheecky and get some softstars .

Cheers lads I think im gonna refurb them and keep them on for a while just while im saving for some alloys. Will look alot better refurbed than they do now as there a bit scuffed. But yeah, definitely gonna get some slabs when i've got the money!

We both gave it a good T-Cut and polish today because there were a few little scratches and it looks far better now. Were going to fit the 40mm springs for now and get the tow bar off

I think there alright tbh, i want it mainly to protect the bonnet before i can afford to have it sprayed. Dont want any more chips than what it already has Wanna do most of the other stuff before i get it sprayed, so gonna stick 1 on until i can afford to get it done.

It wouldn't cost much more to get it sprayed, bonnet bras are about £80 iirc, and they cause damage to the paintwork anyway.

Just had a look on ebay, can get em for £32.50 How do they damage the paintwork mate? You think its best to leave it then and get it sprayed straight away?

I thought they were more than that , I heard that they trap dirt underneath and cause light scratches and swirls. A few coats of wax and take it off when you wash the car it should be fine though. If your only fitting it as a temporary solution I wouldn't bother tbh.
If your fitting it because you like them and are going to leave it fitted then ignore me
