Im trying to get a insurance quote for an evo 7 fq300 so i phoned adrian flux (who im with at the moment) and they said they would not insure me on it, so i tryed a few other companys and they wanted a rediculous amount. Im 21 i have 4 years no claims bonus and three points for a sp30. How old do you have to be to insure a car like this ? or are there eny companys eny body can suggest that might insure me for a resonable amount?

If you have a garage, just say it is parked in there, saves you a few quid.

It actually puts it up a few quid normally.

i got insured at 24 on the subaru with SP30, 4 years no claims at 900 odd quid fully comp, parked on drive overnight, 7500 miles annually and 200 quid excess, also any mods i do i just have to inform them of them but will not affect policy price.

give HIC a ring

Did this for me too, is also more expensive to have it on my drive as opposed to on the road.

Dan has the wrong idea tbh its more expensive to insure a car when you say its parked in a garage compared to if you leave in on a street.
