Currently recruiting for:

South West
South Central
Northern Ireland

Commitments include:

- identification, promotion and attendance of a regular monthly regional meet
- promotion and where possible, assistance in co-ordination of national events
- moderation of the regional forum
- liaison with new local members who express an interest in attending CS activities

Prior experience is not necessarily required but please be aware of the commitment required. New organisers will be fully supported by the existing team and will be given access to discussion relating to all CS offline activities.

Expressions of interest can either be done in private or in here. I am also particularly keen to hear from members who are not themselves applying but are happy to support the applications of others.

Goes back to the old argument of looking at splitting SC into 2 regions imo.

I'm not offering to be RO though as I don't have enough time, sorry!

SC doesn't need splitting. Scotland manages and that has a far lower density of members.

If anyone wants the other regions busier, speak to the staff who are currently appointed.

If the staff want to pass it on, they need to tell me they wish to step down.

Do also remember that the busyness of the regions is entirely down to how active the individual users are, managed by the ROs. They can't invent people or force them to drive their cars.

Caldius is our organiser and he is only ever using the classifieds and rarely posts. Seems pointless having him as organiser tbh

Yeah our organiser hasnt been online since mid-late feb and only ever seems to use the classifieds anyway. I know EM isn't exactly a hive of activity anyway but im sure it could be alot better with a little bit of effort put in
