Anyone done this after a long period of time

After speaking with estate agents today, i'm happy with the figures quoted.

Spoken with my Mum, she's happy for me to go back home and come back pissed on a Friday night

You own two properties don't you?

How come you need to move back? Thought you had a decent job, and you have a mortgage...

Most people only move back so they can save for the dreaded deposit.

Ex gf lives downstairs who i still love. She says she loves me still but won't talk about things. There's more to it but will she fuck as talk about it and it's about time i fucked it off. All i do is work and couple of times a month i'll go out with the lads and get pissed. I may as well be around family...

Money is not really an issue at the moment. I've enough to live a little.

So in your downstaires property, you're her landlord?

As long as she's paying the mortgage, happy days?

I wouldn't move back anytime soon If I were you, going by your old posts you had a £50k Mortgage in 2005, at £500 a month, you've got £20k left...? I may be way off, just going on what you've said in the passed.

If I were you, and you really wanted to move home for whatever reasons... rent it out for near your mortgage value, like you're doing with your ex and your other property, no point in selling and ending back at square 1......

Btw, in relation to your thread...

I've moved back "home" after renting for a few years.... only reason is to save money though.

Figures quoted are not offers to buy it, make sure they don't change much between now and date of the sale.

Is there no option to move somewhere else? Should have equity in your place if you've been there 8 years.

Been here for a year, this is my second place. Pretty much no equity if not negative giving it's a new build.

I'm looking at renting the place Ian, not selling. Right now i'm happy to do this.

No.

Yes it would be fabulous for money terms etc... but I love having my own space, responsibilities and the choice to do what I want and when
