All I can think is that Chinese writing plastered down the side is his Business and this is a hell of a way to advertise your business on every news site around the world maybe?? Destroying the lambo is realtively cheap if he uses it as a promotional item?

After reading the article in the first link I reckon it's more to do with the fact that the customer service over there is shocking. It mentions that the car had a problem where the engine wouldn't start. He phones up Lambourghini and they agree to send out a contractor with a trailer to pick up his car. He gets his car back with damage to the bumper and 'chassis'. He contacts the head of Lambourghini for his region and VAG's head honchos by the looks of things but still gets no-where.
I can imagine that he's a multi, multi millionaire and the fact that he's been disgusted by the service he's received from a top end car manufacturer has led him to come up with this publicity stunt as a way to highlight this problem for China.

A Range Rover Sport costs over £200,000 in India and China so that price is probably quite accurate.
