News expected about his media blackout/comments he was charged with at 3pm it seems.... Hmmmm!

I get the impression he's gonna be told he has to speak to the BBC in future?

It's crazy that it's been allowed to go on as long as it has imo, I understand his greivances but it was a long time ago and it's part of his/every league clubs TV rights deal isn't it?

It doesn't look to be anything to do with it though, just the above (which I expect includes the 2 match ban carried over).

United should just fuck the premier leagues TV deal off, Negotiate their own much like Barca & Real Madrid do and pull in much more money as a result!

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Thats why La Liga is a boring 2 horse race.

The attacking football would only get better! It'd be a joy to behold.

Banned for speaking the truth.

Doesn't make much difference, he can still relay anything from the stands to the bench.

True, should be stadium ban on the day of the match and/or total communication ban during the game (& HT).

Should be really as it doesn't make a right lot of difference, it just means he is sat in the stands instead of on the bench. Probably gets a better view if anything. Can still talk to them before the match and at HT like he normally would

Yep, getting a ban when everything you say is true is bollocks

Yes if he was out of order but to ban him for that is ridiculous

If i was him i'd just refuse to do anymore interviews based on that he cant say his own opinion

Or

Do interviews and just no comment, no comment

It's the same for everyone though. I hate referee's but if everyone undermines them every time a game/decision doesn't go their way it just promotes the opposite of what they are trying to do with the whole respect campaign.

Yes i can see that side of it but if you make mistakes you should be held accountable for them and making the referees untouchable doesnt help because if they dont get critisied how can they change and improve?

I'm all for this respect thing but imo respect is earned and some referees do nothing to earn it, a perfect example is clattenberg, the shittest referee i have ever seen and his shocking incompetance goes both ways, not banning rooney for the elbow and i'm sure it was him that gave a goal when the ball wasn't even between those two big white things at the ends of the pitch
