just got myself a 1.6 16v corsa sport. so far so good. been from durham to scarbough in it.
beets my mates 60 reg astra sri 1.7tdci easyyy

anyone recignise it and/or no much history about it?

v614 mec

its had a little bit of a front end shunt before and the bonnet and wings are painted very dusty, bonnet needs slamming to shut proply

it had kumo 205/50/15's when i got it and the front arches were off, rubbed like hell. just had 195/45/15's put on and its spot on. v.low at the front tho, dina if i should bring the front up or back down as i have a bairn

Are they the 205/50's in the pic or the 195/45's?? If not get some pictures of how the front and rear sit now

ther 195/45 on it now. just cheapy sunnys, paid 160 for all four balanced, valves and fitted at your door step. had them on my old corsa envoy and they seemed mint for the price

So you haven't actually raced he just told you it "felt" faster?

Because I took a friend out in my VXR at Xmas and he spends a lot of time in another mates Audi R8 and he said my Astra feels quicker, now there is no way on gods Earth that it actually is quicker its about perception and how it can actually be screwed by the rawness of a car.

My mates AX GT still feels like the fastest car I have ever driven.
