You can do it but it's not the best idea. What's your budget?

I'm worried that if i go over a speed bump the spring would pop out. when we mounted the spring in the shock and re assembled the shock it was loose as fuck (off the car) do i need to get shorter shocks?

I had 60mm springs on my Corsa with standard shocks and went over the hundred and one speed humps down my road and the springs stayed in fine.
Either way I wouldn't recommend it unless all you care about is looks as it makes the ride horrid.

TBH I didn't think it was that bad, Cut the bump stops down and its no worse than some standard cars imo lol

Was that with the car jacked up?
Once the cars on it wheels there will be weight on the shocks and spring and compressing it so it wont move
I had 60mm springs on standard length bilstein shocks, bouncy but nothing wrong with it and its possible to do

If you're worried about the springs falling out you could always use a couple of cable ties.

This. Annoyingly bouncy tbh. Especially when you have a passenger! It's making me want to change to 40mm drop instead of 60.
