I've had mine done a while now. Use a solenoid and a button on the remote. They pop open
Got a safety switch on the outside for MOT and because I locked myself out five times

you can get around flat batteries, if you plug in a different power source. Also vauxhalls are very easy to break into once you know how.

Really fancy doing it on mine.... i just dont trust my Clifford and central locking to open the doors. I've already had several occasions where my fekin clifford remote simply stops working...
so would defo have to have a hidden button somewhere.

most good alarms have a battery back-up don't they? So you should be ok to pop it open if it uses the alrms key fob? Maybe!!

I haven't heard of any alarms with a battery backup for auxillary devices such as central locking just the actual siren has the battery backup.

Ahh well, having hydraulics anyway, so will have a couple of batteries in the boot anyway, so they can't all go flat!
