The previous Owner provided me x 2 A4 ring binders crammed full of EVERY invoice, MOT and Service Record since new! Car has only covered 55k Miles.
Had a long drive back which gave ample time for testing and wanted to see how it compared to my previous Imprezas (WRX V3, STI V4 and V8 STi). Overall it is a very well setup and balanced car, the VF28 spools up fairly early and there is not much lag at all. The car stops very well with the Newage Brembo's (front and rear) and the Prodrive Bilstein setup with the ARB provides excellent cornering and does not sacrifice much ride comfort at all. I know it sits a bit high in the pictures but it really is an excellent balanced Chassis although probably better for fast road rather then track (Not focused enough).

To be carried out this Weekend :
Fit Crystal side light lenses to match headlights.
Fit Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump. (Car is still running the standard pump and although it has been running fine since 2006 it will pretty much be maxed out flow wise and thus I am fitting the Walbro as a safety measure).

Replaced Standard Fuel Pump with Walbro 255lph
As mentioned before as a safety measure decided to replace the OEM fuel pump with a Walbro Item.
First of all had to remove rear seats. (bench in two parts)
This section literally just unclips
Exposing a metal cover over the fuel pump assembly
Removed metal cover revealing this :
Then removed Petrol Cap to relieve any pressure. Started car then disconnected the electrical feed to the pump assembly and ran car till it stalled (to remove any fuel that was in lines going to the assembly in an attempt to minimise leakage when removing them).
Rotated Pump assembly 180 degrees and pulled out from fuel tank leaving this swimming pool of fuel (maybe I should not have done this on a full tank)
Comparing old Pump with New :
New pump fitted into assembly :
Re-fitting was a reverse of the above procedure. No adjustments needed as fuel flow is controlled by a regulator in the engine bay. Think this was a good mod as a safety margin, the OEM one must have been pretty much at full flow.

Well I was stationary at a Junction last night waiting to turn right and some dippy cow ploughed into the back of me. I looked in the Mirror just before impact and saw that she was pissing about with her toddler on the back seat and thus moving forwards whilst looking behind here 
Back bumper has cracks in the paint and has lost some paint in places, does not sit right (bent brackets maybe) and will need a new rear plate. Previous to this incident the car did not have a Mark on it so to say im pissed of at someone else's incomptence is an Understatment.
This Weekend's Work
Nothing overly exciting, need to trace a rattling sound (sounds like a heatshield).
Previous owner wrapped the centre section of the exhaust and this has aged and is now hanging off so will remove that. I am not a fan of wrapping centre sections as this usually means the rear silencer gets very hot = bumper melt or worse case heat fatigue on the exhaust brackets/hangers imo.
Fit genuine STi pedals to be done.
Probably get a mini detail in (depending on products arriving from polished bliss)
Oh and I might just do the Sunstrip for John 
Car is booked in end of April for new Cambelt and RR health check with a view to remapping on 99 Octane.
Still awaiting delivery of the flocked roof lining.

I had a wee blonde in a mini drive into the RR tyre the other day - couldnt work out what the fuck she had done but she cant have been looking where she was going
She said I reveresed into her 
I was reverse parking into a space - I use my mirrors and she wasnt anywhere near the rear of the RR with its indicator 100% on and reverse lights on.
I got passed the point where you switch from looking behind to over your left shoulder. then THUD.
I thought i'd hit something small at the back of me, turned round to my right to see a blue mini at the front wheel
Got out to blast the fuck out of her but she was visibly shaking and there was no damage to mine
She said I reveresed into her... ER... no - I reveresed, turned into space and was going backwards into a space (so 90deg to her).

Asked her what she wanted to do as mine wasnt marked. She said her car was damaged (really wasnt - it had a tiny scrape, the rest was rubbing off with fingers). When I advised her that I would 100% blame her and it wouldnt even be worth her excess she soon shut up and fucked off sharpish

i would have used the old fuel pump 'bag' thing as opposed to the walbro, they arnt meant to be that good.
saw this forsale on 22b its prev owner was a proper enthusiast wasnt he

dont even know what pump I have in mine but I'm running 400bhp.
Unknown pump, OE fuel reg and 900cc injectors
Cant for the life of me get fuel starvation with cut slicks or and the fuel light on Must have a large sock

I debated this one in my head for a while. I kept the old bag when I fitted a Walbro to my STi V4.
I never drive around on fumes but I guess any chucking about on track with less then a 1/4 of tank may become an issue.
I may source a new OE bag, will only take 10 mins to fit it.
