Not a huge Porsche fan tbh, I quite like that shape as with the 959. IIRC, think AK (on here) has/had one, speak to him.

the mk1 golf got me thinking about classic cars, im really up for getting one.
might try and shift the ///M and get one

mint they go for around £25-£35k but some around for alot more than that
964 turbo (the one from bad boys) are worth shit loads

AK how do you get on with your carrera?

classics are going to get big imo, people will start buying old cars as their pride and joy, bodykits has died, and i think the subtle OEM styling on modern cars has been lived out, i reckon old classics will be the next big thing

i have been looking at this awesome MGA thing, its beautiful

we still have ours... havent used it since Sept though. Keep meaning to bring it out and Tax/Test it for the summer but havent found the time yet. Will prob do it in May now.

Its a pre Carrera, 3.0 SC - 1981 with loads of extras/ sport pack etc.

Problems - I've had it for about 5 or 6 years now I think and its had 2 rear tyres... erm, the rest is just what i'd class as service items.

Oil, filters, gaskets (upper and lower rockers), plugs. They are expensive to service - 12l of oil for dry sumpped engine

Pulls like a train, really different power delivery to all my other cars. Not 'fast' but quick. Will do 140+ and 0 to 60 in 6 something

worth noting I only use it for about 1-2k miles a year. Only in the summer months and its kept in a CarCoon over winter

We are planning to back date it as there is some rust creeping into the front wings and the paint is getting a bit faded/oxidised

If they are properly mint they look fucking awesome

I think there's a fine line with them though between looking dated and looking uber cool.
