I have some major cash to do me motor up so I want the boot smoothed and the handles on the doors with selenoid kits fitting. What I want and need to know is is this legal ? I heard from a few people that you need access to the doors from the outside in case of a crash or something is it worth doing it or not ? shall I just get the boot done and get the handles colour coded or get the locks removed from the handles and go about it that way cheers for any help guys thanks, Paul

The Boot you can do what you like with.

You can De-lock both doors without problem. Its when you take the handles off althogether, Mr.MOT aint going to like it, unless you still have a manual way to open your doors in the case of ure battery or electrics failing

I think its best if I dont do the handles for the moment cos I dont know enough about it and I feel as its a rush job I mean will the selenoid kits have to be fitted before it goes in the body shop or will they be able to do it or is it quite technical ?

spk to m2rv_h, hes from darlo, near you, he has flushed boot, shaved door handles, solenoidds and the only way into the car is by the alarm remote.
