exactly!
horse jumping = £70 and is only afternoon tickets
50 rifle shooting = £80 and is an all day ticket!
still thats £150 and that will only get me and the gf in.
i will still have to pay out for travel to the venue, no doubt a program or souvenir(sp) of something, no doubt there will be restrictions on what food will be allowed in given the stupid ruling on only allow VISA to be used, which will probably mean it will got £25 for a sandwich and can of coke!
i'll prob not get the tickets anyway!

I applied for £1k worth across badminton, athletics, swimming, diving and beach volleyball. Mixture of the cheapest tickets and mid-level tickets.

Have applied for the football at Coventry and Hockey at the Hockey centre, and the Gymnastics (for the missus)
So they will take the money between the 10th May and 10th June, but won't tell me if i've been successful till the 24th June?! That's a ridiciulous method of allocating tickets!

Have withdrawn my application, I can't guarantee i'll have £126 in my account for an entire month if they choose to take it from me. (i'm shit with money)
Also have a friend on facebook from Australia who said that when they had the Olympics she turned up on the day of a basketball game and paid $10 on the door to get in So if i'm free around the time it happens i'll look into that

Doubt thats gonna happen over here for anything but the smallest of events. Virtually all are over subscribed.

fingers crossed! I could of probably sorted it, but skint enough didn't wanna screw myself even more.
They have an official re-selling website so i'll have a look on that closer to the time.
I can't imagine the Hockey being sold out really, but not suprised it's over-subscribed

GB side, unless the others shit themselves through fear of being dismantled, and with most of the team being under 23 years of age. I think you're allowed a couple of players older than that too.

IIRC they're holding some of the football games at Hampden park which is walking distance from me. Ticket prices are stupid though and given I only vaguely enjoy watching it, I'll pass.
