He's not really 'waltzing' in to it though the lad has been coming up for years, he dominated the junior tournaments, first 147 at 14 (younger than Ronnie) he actually beat Ronnie when he was 14, he's been a pro since 16 and a name on all the pundits lips since he was 10, a random guy had a £10 bet on him at 1000/1 when he was 10 that he will be world champ before he's 25. He's been on the main tour for four years and just not settled, didn't win a tournament until the China open earlier this year.

I think he will beat Higgins, but if he doesn't he will be world champ in the next few years and next year he will be a force to be reckoned with, as he has been since he was 10.

yeah i understand that, but its his first entrance in a world championship, and when here came here was rank 14th no only that, his game is a little rash and cocky for my liking and think he would be a far better player if he lost out this time and learnt a little from it

I hope he beats Higgins, he's a breath of fresh air is Trump, his positioning still needs a lot of work, but he can pot anything from anywhere and the amount of screw he gets on the ball is amazing.

He's like a new O'Sullivan, makes the game exciting to watch again, there needs to be more players like him!

Come on Judd!

He's been trying ever since he was on the main tour, but didn't get far. This year he's playing the way he has been for years and it's done good. I don't think he's cocky, he's just confident. As he knows he is that good. The game needs an exciting new face.

Jan Ver Hass has been terrible this final too, miss counting on numerous occasions, forgetting to re-spot balls. Michaela Tabb should have been reffing.
